Shay Arnold graduated from University of Houston at Clear Lake with a degree in Elementary Ed and has home schooled her 6 beautiful children for the last 23 years. She loves to teach, study God’s Word, sew, stamp, and be with her family.
Priscilla Martinez has been a homeschooling mother since 2004 and is a mother of six children. She joined Faith, Family, and Friends in 2013 and has taught consecutively for 7 years. Our family lives between Hubbard and Coolidge on a ranch where we raise beef cattle and dairy goats. We are members of Salem Lutheran Church in Malone. I played soccer, learned to play the viola and sang to every song on the radio growing up. Today I still chase balls, play viola in church and sing constantly. I’ve been married since 1999 to the greatest man I have ever known and God blessed us with two children.
I graduated from MCC in Vocational Nursing in ‘02, married in ’03 and now have 6 wonderful children, 4 girls and 2 boys. I practiced nursing for 6 years off and on (between having babies) in geriatrics, obstetrics and psych settings until the birth of our 4th child. Currently we home school High school, elementary, primary and have a toddler. Our eldest daughter went to public school through 2nd grade and then has been homeschooled ever since. My husband and I are Commander of Awana children’s ministry for King of Glory church in Bellmead. Clint and I have been married for 13 years. Two years ago our family moved to Golinda where we now have room for animals, play and entertaining.
I am also an Independent Creative Partner for Initials-Inc. I very much enjoy getting together with friends and being silly (laughter is good medicine you know). More than anything else I am a daughter of the One True King making me a Princess. (That is the identity I want all my children and yours to take upon themselves.)
Sara graduated from the University of North Texas with a B.S. in biology and a chemistry minor. She taught high school science in Denton ISD until her kids came along and has been homeschooling since 2011. She also helps with the youth group at her church in Oglesby. On her free time, she enjoys reading, sewing/quilting, and working outside in the garden.
Kendra is a full-time Jesus lover, husband helper, childcare worker, sanitation specialist, and sibling arbitrator. She also teaches homeschool. Her favorite subjects are history, geography, and literature and teaches from a biblical perspective. Her favorite teaching tools are a Bible and an 1828 Noah Webster Dictionary. She taught her own children largely using the Principle Approach, a methodology that begins each subject with the word of God. She’s a Mom and a Mimi in a large family. She loves to read and to learn. She loves children (even her own!) and tries not to take herself or the craziness of home schooling too seriously.
I have been married for over 22 years to a loving, wonderfully supportive husband, and together we have three amazing boys. I graduated in 2000 from Tarleton State University and began my career as a teacher the following year. We became a full-time homeschooling family in 2012 and joined the F3 family in 2019, which has been such a blessing. We love sharing our lives, our love of Jesus, and the talents we have been given with others that have chosen the road less traveled. I look forward to another terrific year with my F3 family.
